Regarding dark matter - April 09, 2024 14:37:09

Given that all matter is made up of particles, including dark matter, I suggest that dark matter is the particles between the particles of matter. That all matter is a 3D mosaic of matter and dark matter, with dark matter giving substance to matter. This would also explain why there is so much dark matter and why it is so elusive.

The enigma of belief - March 17, 2024 16:38:41

The belief system in humans is a very curious thing, we all hold beliefs for no reason other than, that’s what we believe. Whether political, religious, scientific, or sociological, beliefs are common to all and deeply held, regardless of where they fit on the spectrum, skeptic, gullible or somewhere in between. The curious thing is not what we believe but, why we believe what we believe, and why we cling to them as though they were family heirlooms. With many options on every topic, why we choose to hold one belief dearly is a mystery hidden somewhere in the human genome

THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME NO LONGER EXISTS - May 24, 2023 13:45:01

It has become the pop music hall of fame. To include Abba, Madonna, and the Jackson 5 in the same music category as Little Richard, Chuck Berry, and the Rolling Stones is ridiculous. Like jazz or zydeco, rock and roll is a specific music genre,  blues based with country influence, not a catch all phrase for anything that comes down the pike. Simply because someone dresses appropriately and cavorts onstage doesn’t make it rock and roll. Pop music has enough extraordinary artists from Tin Pan Alley through Rudy Valle, Frank Sinatra, Patti Page, and Taylor Swift to fill a huge Hall of Fame plus an annex, they don’t need to hijack rock and roll. Rock music has evolved over time, but it did not change species. Perhaps Danny and the Juniors were wrong and it’s time for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to turn out the lights and lock the doors on the building that should have been built in Memphis.

Small Bang vs. Big Bang Theory - May 02, 2023 15:02:56

Rather than a big bang creating the universe, I suggest it was actually a small bang within one sector of an already existing universe. A small bang created by an unimaginably large black hole. Black holes by their nature have to grow, there is no alternative. They grow slowly at first attracting anything that comes within their gravitational field, dust, debris, asteroids, comets, and later moons, planets, and stars. The size and gravity increases with each acquisition. Eventually it would consume planet after planet and star after star until finally an entire galaxy, then another and another. In time it would become so large and the gravity so intense, compressing the energy to absolute maximum. How long this would take,50, 100, 500 billion Earth years is irrelevant, the universe has no clock, no calendar. It could either self trigger or a collision with another black hole cause the event. It would still be a heck of a noise and quite a light show, but a small bang none the less.
